  • Game: WIN; Gayte: WIN

Thanks Zubaz for making this happen each and every week.

Thanks to all who made my daughter and non-board friends feel welcome.

Thanks to whoever brought those little dough thingies with sausage and sauce. Nice!

Nice to meet Butchie and family, and I'm glad he was able to be initiated with the tiny piece of Carolina reaper. I hope my daughter didn't steer your son down the dark side by claiming those brownies "had a little kick" to them!

Great to see IG, DSG, Slag, the GREAT IE (fuck a foreskinner!), TRENT, roth, and to meet Ellsworth for the first time. I'm sure I'm missing some folks, but just a big THANKS for being so welcoming and fun. Terrific start to the Wentz area.

Well said. Good to see you again.

That was the most fun I had at an Eagles game in a long time. Great atmosphere all around.

Yes. Fantastic gayte. I always knew the gayte was going to be good but the day was a lot more fun than I would have expected 10 days ago.

Atmosphere was fantastic. From the anthem to when Wentz took the field, the place was awesome. Gayte was great as always, although I'm not sure we met?? If not, next time...

          Great day!

It was a terrific day all around. The only way it could have been better is to have more gayte time. But there's no denying that the atmosphere in the lot - and in the game - was pretty electric.

            Sorry I missed ya.

Agreed. Great meeting you and Butchie as well. Also, Trent. First time We crossed paths and it's always nice putting a face to a name and meeting significant others, offspring etc. that's what makes the board so awesome.

Trent's daughter gets my gayte MVP for entertaining my 2 boys all day and allowing the wife and I to tailgate & mingle in style.

Perfect gayte. Most fun we've had in a long time at a game and largely due to the weather, company, and WENTZ AREA BEGINNING.

the Jinxworth curse is no more!

It was good to have our butts in place to watch the opening ceremonies. Too bad the speakers in my section suck - I could barely understand any of the announcements. Oh, and the "free Eagles wifi" was nice and strong, but there was pretty much 100% latency.

Hanging out at the gayte spot afterward was nice. The traffic cleared quite a bit...at least until we got past the airport. Then it was bumper to bumper almost all the way to the Villanova exit of the blue route.

We saw some drunk guy get hit by a car after the game. He was walking/stumbling against traffic on Broad Street right before the 76 entrance. A lady behind us in a pickup truck ran him over, and it didn't sound good. I hope the guy is alright, I haven't seen anything about it in the news.

I wasn't sure if anyone else who hung around saw this or was caught in the traffic from it.

We could hear the crunch. Crazy that we saw it all unfold.

                              sorry I missed you guys...

...they closed the gate as we were the 3rd car in line. They're dicks.
Ended up tailgating in the bizarro lot where no one (except us) grills or drinks. On the plus side, they had the shortest porta-potty lines I've ever seen in Philly. We'll catch up with you guys at the Vikes game.

                              Thanks,
                              Bill
