I think I'm about even by myself. I threw a hundred in w/ a group in a winner takes all contest and won a chunk of change once. I also know a guy who's done really well. Much like regular gambling - those who are great, do well and bet tons of $$, those having fun lose money and rarely is there a guy that is having fun and makes significantly more than just losing the vig.

I've won 2,000 on a nba $25 dollar buy in tournament... If your looking to make money on that site u need to study and play h2h or 50/50 most people play tournaments cause big prize but it's 5x harder to hit on them

The smaller private ones we do I've won. When I shoot for the moon and enter those heap ones with 20,000 people in them I generally lose.

If the week 1 contest was full I would have likely won $45 but we were 1 player short and those douchebags don't allow you to alter the #of players after you create the pool so it doesn't count for $$$. What's the fucking point in that?

I also go head to head vs a couple buddies during NFL season. That's always fun. We just do $2 of $5 and winner takes all. Just makes it interesting on a Sunday afternoon.

Overall I'm down about $100 since I started. BUT THAT CHANGES THIS WEEKEND.

The yahoo daily fantasy I find to be a lot better. Interface is cleaner and there is way less competition as they don't really advertise. I only play the 10 dollar ones but typically break even or win a little at end of the season
