In a weird way, it might take some of the game 2 jitters away from the rookies (Wentz, Mills). Admittedly, it's not the same thing, but when Owens was in Philly, all of his weekly media comments took some of the heat off McNabb and allowed Donovan to focus on the game.

The point of statements on social justice is not to make you comfortable. Alot of these guys do millions of dollars in charity work every year and you probably can't name one organization because you,just like all of us don't give a crap about off field social awareness because it can be safely ignored.
