After Smallwood went up the middle on those delays for 12 and 14, you have to feed him at least twice to reward him with the TD ... particularly when you're up 17.

But, you're right, Reid probably wouldn't have.

The playcalling overall has been impressive, no doubt about it. It's an extreme joy to watch after suffering through the FF and Winnie regimes.

Yeah, Wentz has been impressive as hell but he also landed in the perfect place to succeed so quickly.

I haven't heard a peep from my Steelers friend. This a joyous time to be a Birds fan.
