  • Eagles PFF Grades Through 3 Weeks

For what it's worth here's how some of the Eagles rank among all players at their position:

    Wentz - #1 QB
    Mathews - #13 RB
    Sproles - #50 RB
    Matthews - #47 WR
    Agholor - #55 WR
    Huff/DGB - Tied #79
    Celek - #8 TE
    Ertz - #13 TE
    Burton - #16 TE
    Barbre - #2 OG
    Brooks - #17 OG
    Kelce - #34 C
    Johnson - #2 OT
    Peters - #49 OT
    Graham - #3 DE
    Curry - #40 DE
    Cox - #7 DT
    Logan - #77 DT
    Hicks - #10 LB
    Bradham - #19 LB
    Carroll - #49 CB
    Brooks - #67 CB
    Mills - #97 CB
    McLeod - #17 S
    Jenkins - #23 S
    Sturgis - #6 P

What really sticks out is how bad the Johnson suspension is going to hurt the line.

That plus how poorly Peters is rated.

Also very surprised that Jenkins is rated so low at S, he's been playing well from what I have seen.

Interesting - we have 3 TE's in the top 16.

Kelce is 34 among centers, meaning there are backup centers playing better than him.

Shows that losing Johnson is gonna SUCK

Also confirms what we all know as obvious - we need a CB and a WR to become a legit contender.

These numbers confuse me. Jason Peters has 48 players better than him? He may not be all world like he used to be...but certainly he isn't that bad.

I don't know, I guess having the #1 ranked QB in the league sticks out slightly more to me.

It's also interesting to see that Not Earl Thomas is the #3 DE.

Allen Barbre, the #2 guard is taking his place.

I'm more surprised that Barbre and Johnson are each #2 at their position than I am Wentz being #1 with how he's played.

Not Earl Thomas was whooping ass. He was being held by the Steelers Oline every play. Fastball!
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.
