I booked out of Hilton Head last night to Greenville where a friend's daughter is putting us up.

Figured why sit in a fucking traffic jam today.

Still hit major pockets of refugees.

      Looks like we might

Get the edge of it here in the Myrtle Beach area. Probably tropical storm conditions, that's about it. But my work has already cancelled tomorrow through Monday. So doesn't look like a direct hit here anymore. Which means a rare weekend off actually getting to watch some football. Hoping the people living in the path of this thing stays safe.

It's worse than I thought. I figured we'd get rain and some wind. A lot more flooding than I initially thought we'd see.

We were cleaning up my kids rooms and I noticed my oldest'S ceiling was dropping water. We will have to replace his entire ceiling I'm sure. Can't find source yet. Awesome.

Lot more people getting it 1,000,000x worse than me though. Considering myself lucky.

I'm almost out of liquor though. 😳

                Bump

All is good at the homestead. Lost power for 48 hours over Saturday night into Monday afternoon. Sucked because we don't have a generator so just about all the food in the fridge had to be tossed. Big hats off to the emergency crews getting downed trees cleared, power lines back up and running, etc. Lots to be thankful for.

Storm was a rainmaker, no doubt. Inland only a few miles from us dealing with A LOT of flooding and washed out roads. Up in North Carolina around Lumberton and Fayetteville is where the worst of it was. Word out on the street is that a chunk of I-95 in NC won't re-open until end of the month, beginning of November. A few piers in Myrtle Beach got washed out - namely, Surfside and Springmaid.

No power or internet Sunday, so I drove up the road a few miles to a CVS parking lot where I could get cell reception and sat in the car for three hours listening to Merrill call the game. Talk about a kick to the balls - dealing with the aftermath of the storm only to have the Iggs lose the way they did. Hope they come back and stomp Washington this week. Fuck a Foreskin.

Hope any bored brothers in North Carolina in the affected areas are safe. For a Cat 1, this thing was a doozey. Scary thing is that a few rivers in the area still haven't crested...
