...how long? ever? or does it just feel that way with the road games sandwiching a bye....this schedule sucks ass bigtime. And you know they are flexing that game (sorry if I missed it already and Franco's been dead). We are just the studio audience.

I doubt the "flex" is gonna happen. NFL rules say that with the exception of the final week of the season they will announce "flex" games no less than twelve days in advance.

Tomorrow is Oct 13. The Vikings game is scheduled for Oct 23. 23 minus 13 is 10.

PS Paradoxical as it may seem, this "Flex" crap may be another reason why ratings are down.

Do enough un-fan friendly things to your core supporters and it's not a surprise that your ratings could decline.

I guess I'm still skeptical only because its money, TV, the game, and the rules in that order of importance to the powers that be.
