Announcement

No announcement yet.

The way I read it, there is no way they can "flex" the time of the Vikings game now.

Please read and tell me if there is some out I am missing. It says 12 days notice.
    See: http://www.nfl.com/flexible-schedules

    Oct 23 (game day) - Oct 13 (Today) = 10 days.

I misinterpreted this policy before so is there some other out the NFL has that I have missed?

PS Sorry about the redundancy. I basically said the same thing to IG in a separate thread. I just wanted to put it out as it's own topic so that Gayters can make appropriate plans.

I initially interpreted "The announcement will come no later than 12 days prior to the game", as meaning, the game must be flexed within 12 days of the game. Although that sounds counterproductive. Think you're right.

No flex. That was in the paper this morning. CBS has the DH with the Steelers and Pats and the SNF game is Seattle and Arizona. I think if the Eagles had won on Sunday, they might have.

I mentioned the confusing wording in another thread. The phrase "no later than 12 days before" could have two different meanings. But I believe the deadline has indeed passed.
