  • Future of the OL

Peters is probably gone, but I think he could slide inside like Larry Allen did in his late years and crush it. Worth restructuring for that if he's down. Peters has wavered on that over the years, but I think he'll do it to stay. He can also be a backup tackle as well.

Brooks has been good, not great. But a solid starter.

Big V gets better every game. Like him at RT. Draft a backup. Or if you don't think he's got it -- priority free agent. Looks like there will be a bunch available.

Lame has to move to LT.

Kelce needs to go. Wiz can play that spot and he's playing solid right now. definitely draft a center.

OL could be Lame / Big V on the outside. Brooks / Peters on the inside. Wiz at Center.

They were really high on Seumalo before he got hurt in TC. He will be a factor at Guard.

I think Big V is going to stay at RT for a long time. I was specifically watching him during a few of those Mathews runs...he's very solid. He needs some work on his pass-protection, but I think that will come.

I agree with your typo. The OL could indeed be lame.

Was discussing this yesterday. They are not as bad off on OL as I thought. I think they are decent there. The big problem is you can't count on Lame not getting caught again = career over. No more guaranteed money for him!

Peters has admitted that he will probably end his career as a guard. That should be a good move all around, especially if they can get his help to lessen the salary cap pain.

Big Difference the way this line played yesterday compared to the Gnats game

They really struggled in protection last week, but this week with the run being called you could see the Line was much bigger and more Physical up front. Makes a world of Difference.

need more depth though. I guess Barbre is a decent backup. Age will be a factor for peters and to a lesser extent Wiz

You saw that Kelce was going to be a bigger problem than V from the start (even after that awful first game), good call.

Seumalo could slide to center....some said it might be his best position as a pro (thinking Daniel Jerimiah?)....fwiw

Thanks Arlo! A short analysis compared to those you used to do.
But - agreed! And Kelce should go,

Big game next weekend in your neck of the woods. Are you going?

Saw him pick up an edge rusher, sink his hips/anchor and he stoned the guy. That was encouraging.

Don't be so fast to push Kelce aside. One of the few centers in the league thats fast enough to pull.

I haven't recorded a game this year, but I'm curious to hear about him. The few times I focused on him, he looked good in both phases. If he is developing into a future starter, that's going to be a huge plus.

I agree with your take on the OL and I believe I read that Peters would be open to the idea once before... a couple of years back. He is still well.

I think the Eagles should be in a position to go after a skill position player in the first... and load up on the line later.
