Ehh, it sucks but Jah was the clear-cut #2 at the time. It wasn't really even close.

Russell went 2nd. Lakers made smart choice.

Knicks crowd didn't like it but what do fans and screaming A Smith know?

Knicks foreign staff outscouted the sixers.

Can we give Jah a fucking break???

He is 20 for Christ's sake, and going through growing pains. He will be a star in a few years.

Agreed. He had 19 pts last night in only 20 minutes. I'd rather have KP, but hindsight is 20/20.

I'm not shitting on Jah, just pointing out that Hinkie's hands MIGHT have been tied and that Phil Jackson had Jah>KP.

Like I said previously, the best comp for Okafor is Al Jefferson. Solid, old school post game with struggles on defense. He can have a long, productive career if he's the next Jefferson.

I think that is a really good comparison. Jah might be able to be better on defense if he can get himself in better shape too, as Al always had a bit of a doughy body similar to Jah now. He's a very skilled player, but just has to grow and unfortunately we're all tired of the growing pains.

Pretty sure KP's agent wouldn't let Hinkie go near him much less work him out.

Too many big men on the roster - detrimental to his "future brand"...

Jah has great low most moves but...

can't defend. He had 18 points in 17 minutes on Wednesday, shooting 8-for-11. His post moves are as good as any young player I've seen in a long time, but its tough for him to be effective when Saric, Rodriguez et al are more concerned with taking terrible outside shots early in the shot clock and turning the ball over.

This is not a team right now. No real point guard or shooting guard. Horrible basketball to try to watch.

I'd like to hear a name of a kid who came up in any era with those moves and variety of shots down low. For years we have been saying we needed an offensive presence down low.

totally agree he is going to be really, really good.
