Today's Sixers might be most abysmal Philly franchise in my memory

I defend Jah and call him a stud and he goes out and scores 18 points in 17 minutes on 8-for-11 shooting in the win over Washington. Then he scores two in the entire first half tonight.

Honestly, Embiid didn't look any better during the time it was an actual game. But with no team defense and atrocious shot selection and shooting, they go down by 30 in the half to a team with five wins.

I think these guys are playing worse than when the roster was a lot less talented. The only thing they do consistently is turn the ball over.

There's a lot to like about Brown but his message must be getting lost. They used to really play hard for him but that is no longer the case.

Brown didn't assemble this roster, which still doesn't have an NBA calibler point guard or shooting guard, and its not his fault Simmons got hurt. But the fans deserve more than this dreck.

I'm looking for marked improvement in the second half after Simmons comes back. The fans deserve to see something. I get that last night was a back to back on the road, but it was terrible.

Also, I'm kind of over the minutes restrictions and no back to backs for Embiid - either these guys are healthy or they aren't. They're 20 years olds. Finally, would it kill them to play Embiid and Jah together a little bit? I know having two good players on the court at the same time is a novel concept over the last few years for this team, but come on...

Between Simmons, two Top 10 picks in a deep draft next summer, and a choice FA acquisition or two they should be back in the playoffs no later than '18-'19. I don't think we are far off from a year when multiple Philly teams win their respective championships. All four franchises are on an upward projectory.

I was at the game on Wednesday night. The offensive sets and rotation that Brett Brown was using was some of the dumbest shit I've seen. He had TJ McConnell out there for at least 10 minutes of the 4th quarter when Sergio Rodriguez was actually playing great all night. Our whole section was going nuts. And I agree, they weren't playing hard at all, and if it was any other team than the Wizards they would've lost.

My guess is he's referring to the Lakers' pick, which ain't looking like a top 10 pick.

Easy to forget the Sixers also have another stashed a 1st round pick from this last draft in Furkan Korkmaz.

Last night was embarrassing on all accounts. Three of the Sixers' best players are out and then replace that with the 3 worst players in the NBA being in the rotation and it accounts for a lot of blowouts due to the inconsistent play at so many positions. Bayless needs to come back desperately bad so no more TJ. Sauce is surprising this season which is the only positive so far other than Embiid. Not a fan of Okafor AT ALL.
