  • Desean and Brandin Cooks?

Schefter reporting the Eagles will make a strong push for Jackson, and Rapoport says the Saints may consider trading Cooks.

I say pull the trigger on both moves (they'll have plenty of cap room), focus on CB and OL during the draft.

I am hoping DJ retires an Eagle

we will see if that happens Id love to get a few more years out of My 10 jersey! Im sure he will have some games he disappears but the threat he provides is worth the Money and the headaches if any.....Cooks would be the Icing on the Cake!

Cooks wants out because he's not getting enough targets ... one or the other is probably the way to go here.

Why in the hell would you want Desean Jacksion? He's 30+ years old who will want upwards of $7million per year. What a complete waste of money for a 1 trick pony (We already have one of those in Treggs) who makes no money and does the same thing. People gotta stop living in 2010.

Treggs? Lol. Jackson can still play. That one trick opens up the whole field. It's been evident since he left. He'd probably make JMatt look like an all pro.

Not to mention he'd be lucky to play in 9 games

There's no question you go after Cooks first. Jackson as a #3 for a couple years sounds fine.

I will always have a soft spot for Jackson but Cooks clearly has more upside long term ... I was heartily pissed when the Aints jumped the Eagles to snag him.

Agree with this. Jackson isn't going to be your elite #1 receiver. But he definitely makes them better. And he should be an Eagle.

I don't disagree that we need a WR that spreads the field, but you don't overpay an aging, often injured WR that's better days are behind him. There are wayyyy too many holes that need to be filled before thinking of signing a guy like Jackson.

Get them both. Then you can give that Jagalor another year, hoping he's on the Brandon Graham track.

I don't want Jackson back (age, injuries, best years well behind him) but would like cooks at the right price.

Cooks makes complete sense, (23 years old, best days ahead of him, good attitude), signing Jackson is plain STUPID.

They might also need a RB.

I agree, I would go for both moves.

I have the feeling that Jackson might like to come back to Phila. He had to have established some friends here during his time here. And also now that Chump is gone I think he'd like to come back to put it in Chump's face.
