Realistically, Pederson gets another year. I'll acknowledge he was given crap to work with.

Having said that, when a team quits on it's coach it's not a good sign. And the Eagles quit yesterday.

....we constantly like to link Gomer to FF and make comparisons,( and there are alot of situational similarities) if that holds true then Gomer is ( statistically)beating Reid across the board.

Reid and the great JJ defense was getting its ass handed to them in Nov and Reid didn't pull out of the loss cycle until getting two garbage wins at the end of the season.

So I will hold out, if we are having this talk this time next year I will be bringing my torch & fork.

I cannot gauge the intangibles or locker room moods accurately from my couch, I'm not Lala.

What I can gain from my experience was I thought Reid was a joke in his first year. No OC or HC experience .....his collection of nobody's looked like the keystone cops and after getting their heads handed to them on a plate in back to back weeks by Carolina and Indy it only reinforced my thoughts.

So I go by numbers and all I'm saying at this point is Gomer has outperformed Reid if naysayers want to continue comparing those models, that's all.

This actually defends Gomer but I have to say that Reid (FF) had a lot more to work with, especially on defense.

On offense FF had:
Duce
Tra Thomas
Donovan McNabb

On Defense:
Jeremiah Trotter
Troy Vincent
Bobby Taylor
Brian Dawkins
Hugh Douglas

Those were some legit players. Hell, Al Harris was better than any CB on the current Eagles roster.

On this team's O I count Peters (at the end of his career) and maybe Wentz as players. On D I count Cox (who is underachieving this year), Graham and maybe Bradham. Definitely less than Reid had to work with.

I don't like all the batted throws Wentz is making. He's tall, so it's gotta be because the defensive players are anticipating his throw and getting their arms up. Wentz is winding up his throw and taking too long to get the ball out.
