    Zubaz 1st Yesterday and rant

Most of you know I am very loyal and passionate and just a good fan ( like most).
When I go to the games, I stay till 0:00 on the clock.
I have watched the games on TV every game for at least the last 13 years. Qtr by qtr, play by play. Something in 2003 occurred and I missed a game. But before it was like 7 year streak from 1996. anyways you get the point.

Yesterday - was a first, at the end of the 2nd qtr I walked up out of the basement( eagles nest), and said I am going to go rake leaves. Well I drive my tractor when I do.
I was so pissed, - NO HEART, NO EFFORT, NO PASSION, NO ENERGY. it looked like a 1st pre season game of guys who would be cut.
So I tuned into my NFL Pass and radio, headphones on and listened to merril. That was comical. You could tell he was frustrated as well, and his comments he was holding back on what he really wanted to say.
So I did come back in and watch the 4th qtr.

I am not sure what is going on. We all know we probably would be just a meh team this year, but yesterday was such a bad performance. OL, WR ROUTE so sloppy, ( we did catch balls), play calling-1,000 passes. really DOUG running plays wide, pound the fucking ball. DEFEnSE- WHAT THE FRICK. POOR TACKELING, NO PRESSURE, NO BLITZ, Frickin PISS POOR COVERAGE, JUST LETTING GUYS RUN BY YOU,
Wentz, I just think has started to doubt him self. Losing, trying hard, doing to much on his shoulders. He will be fine though.
Bright side, trey burton, and paul Turner.
GET IT THE FUCK TOGETHER NOW!!!!!!!!!! Not a playoff team, but show some heart NEXT WEEK AGAINST THE DEADSKINS.

I'm with you. I left it on for some reason but left middle of 4th to catch the late games at a local watering hole with a couple buddies and grab some grub.

Best way to show you're pissed: boycott the remaining home games. Losing is 1 thing but what we saw yesterday goes above and beyond that. That was a complete slap in the face and inexcusable on every level.

Empty seats are the only way to make Lurie pay attention right now.

    Not one fucking crab fry

"absolutely non-competitive" That comment from Merrill sort of summed it up for me.

I stayed for the whole thing. Felt like a dog with its nose being shoved in its own shit pile. Now I'm waiting for the rolled-up newspaper.

            Bullshit.

I've paid for my tickets and I'm damned sure that I'll be there with my comrades before (especially before) and during whatever nonsense gets paraded on that field. Like DSG said, we go to the game as Eagles fans, not fair weather fans.

I totally get that. It'd be the only reason I'd wanna go right now too if the effort in the field mirrors what we saw yesterday and past few weeks.

But at some point if you want change badly enough you have to take drastic measures. Maybe a 3rd quarter walkout. Something to get Lurie's attention.

Maybe some good old fashioned pitchforks and torches...

Seriously though...from the reaction Lurie had on display when he ended the Chip area, I have to think that he's almost as frustrated as we are. Unfortunately he appears to be limited by his own incompetence at selecting the right people for the important jobs. And all the protesting in the world isn't going to make him any smarter in that regard.

                    I couldn't agree more.

But it will be good to see you next Sunday!

The end of the first half was a joke. The Bengals obviously were ready to run out the clock and the Eagles defense couldn't make one play.

They did try to come back in the fourth. Then Wentz sailed another pick to stomp out any feeble hope.
