pick up the ball when it comes out??? That is the problem with some of these guys. They don't think. It may be ruled complete and a fumble. You can't expect the refs or replay officials to make the right call and you aren't hurting anything if you pick it up and treat it like he fumbled it.

True. You see guys every week picking it up and running with it until/if the play is blown dead. Not sure how close they were to the ball, but hey, get on it!
