Westworld (SPOILERS) is the best HBO since The Wire

Very true. I read once that Crichton was dismayed that the original Westworld movie played more to the runaway technology than to the interplay of humanity with its new creation. I think this version does a much better job of weaving the concepts together.

Edit: I did a search, and I see that he was also trying to portray the role of corporate greed as well. Also much improved in the plot lines.
