    Sproles to retire

At the end of the 2017 season.

Loved watching that dude play...Eagles are going to miss him.

Does that up the percentage the birds go RB in the first round?

I wonder what they could get for him in a trade? Try to get a 4th or 5th rounder for him.

Chip brought him to Philly, right?

Who was more exciting to watch...Sproles or BWest?

Westbrook is one of my favorites, but I'd pick Sproles. He's like watching little Mario after he gets a star.

Sproles has exceeded my expectations and played a very long career for an RB. However, it's not even close on who was more fun to watch. Sproles is a playmaker but he's not an every down back. BWest was possibly the best back in the NFL 06-08. His game-winning TD against Minn in the playoffs, to tie against TB, end of the half against the Lions in 07, to win against the Skins in 07, 4 on Thanksgiving 08, 2 in the playoffs against NO, miracle at the meadlowlands, 3 receiving TDs in a half against GB...Sproles runs hard but he doesn't compare.

Sproles is a border line Hall of Famer ... as much as I like Westbrook, he ain't.

Why would you trade the only guy who knows how to return punts and gets you a first down when needed and big play guy when needed. It's the only weapon this team has. A 4th or 5th round pick will get you shit.

GOOD FOR HIM. HE HAD A NICE CAREER, PLAYED WELL FOR MOST OF IT.

Yeah I've wondered about Sproles' HOF chances. But if guys like Edgerrin James don't make the HOF, I don't think Sproles will make it to Canton.

This is a separate argument, but man did our offense revolve around BWest for a few years. 03, 06, 07, 08 we were a completely different team without him on the field.

He's surrounded by HOF players on the list.

                    1. Jerry Rice (23,546), 2. Brian Mitchell (23,330), 3. Walter Payton (21,803), 4. Emmitt Smith (21,564), 5. Frank Gore (19,992),
