Does anyone else envision Mike Trout in a Phils uni in the next couple of years? He's a true South Jersey/ Philly guy who "gets it". Now that Howard is off the books the FO is in position to make some moves in the next couple of years.

Not too shabby. I haven't been keeping up with the Phils much. How did that #1 pick look last summer?

Moniak has looked good. He's got a above average (probably good) glove and (great) contact. Not sure if power will translate. He's several years away.

As for Trout - If I'm Anaheim, the conversation starts with Crawford. Probably includes Nola or VV and maybe Herrera as the replacement for Trout immediately. It's a steep price. maybe that changes as the year(s) progress.

The one positive is, if money is an issue when he's potentially an FA in 2020, the Phils can match anyone in the league.
