Apparently the same code of conduct doesn’t apply to the many rowdy, foul-mouthed, drunken, pot-smoking fans that pack the stadium.

Nor does it apply to the laundry list of Eagles players who routinely make the police blotter for a variety of offenses ranging from assault and battery, disorderly conduct, drugs, gun violations, and animal abuse.

Even for an Eagles team and the National Football League, which go to extreme measures to try to control the free-flow of information, Gordon’s move was petty and unprofessional. (Did McLane’s game-day column that asked if first-year coach Doug Pederson is the right guy for the job play a role?)

This is definitely a PR fiasco for the Birds, but Hayes doesn't make the inky reporters seem sympathetic. I forget who said it in the last thread, but count me in the group who's schadenfreud for the media doesn't condone these pravda-esque tactics.

I was approached by security after letting into zeebra 75 for the botched PI on our end of the field; there were 3 calls he fuced up totaly. I was told by security I would be thrown out if they heard that again! as loudly and as clear as My big mouth can produce, so no the Pot smoking fans don't get away with everything, ask Zubbz he was there!

Man did I ripp 75 a new one, problem was the cameras were right there and the whole tirade made it through the Mics.

Yeah, I think it makes the Eagles look pretty bad. Throwing out journalists is very Snyder-esque.

That said, HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A PHILLY SPORTS WRITER SCORNED!!! I think they are overestimating how important this is to the average fan.
