  • Hayes destroyed Boy blunder for his pathetic Rowe trade explanation

    Good.

    vindictive little asshole.

God damn I hate that son of a bitch. The sooner he's out of the compound the better off this organization will be.

Belichik played his ass like a fiddle.

So I was right about Hayes, but not Rowe. I'm okay with this.

Ouch. Pretty brutal. Howie's explanation is ridiculous, though. Next time the Patriots call, offering a 4th round pick for one of our players, we should extend that player immediately.

I don't think anyone was upset about this trade (I know I wasn't) but Kiko Alonso had a nice little year in Miami this year. Just sayin'.

As organizations (front office, coaching, etc.) the Patriots and the Eagles are night and day. It sucks that we have players that can't succeed here and then go over to the Patriots and become serviceable starters and role players. How can that happen so often?

Cubs proved there aren't curses. Just terrible owners who hire awful front office personnel. and that's what we are stricken with.

The eagles are a disease. Lurie is patient zero.

He had no explanation, because it wasn't his call. Dougie and Schwartz made the call well before there was any trade. Rowe was sliding down the depth chart all summer, Roseman had nothing to do with that. He just decided to get what he could for what he saw as a depreciating asset.

Ultimately, they're probably going to get a third for a guy who was, at best, serviceable. Not the greatest trade ever, but nothing worthy of this much hand-wringing.

His explanation was bizarre and incoherent, but I'm finding it difficult to give much of a damn about this one.

So then all three of them can't evaluate talent.

The guy is starting on the number one Super Bowl contender.

EDITED TO ADD: Meanwhile, Nolan Carroll hasn't turned to make a play on a ball since they signed him.

I'm no fan of the situation... I thought Row played really well down the stretch last year. I'm just not pinning it 100% on Roseman. If anything, the Rowe situation gives me less faith in Schwartz.

Something must have happened between Rowe and Schvantz, he fell down the depth chart so quickly that there had to be a beef somewhere. The thing with howie is how he explained the reason for trading him, now how can you justify trading him after one year for not fitting the teams plan and then keep mucus for three.

THEY TRY TO PUT PLAYERS THEY DRAFT, OR FREE AGENTS, IN A ROUND HOLE WHEN THEY ARE SQUARE PEGS. PLAYERS THAT PLAYED EXCEPTIONAL IN COLLEGE IN A SYSTEM GET ASKED TO PLAY IN A SYSTEM THEY NEVER PLAYED IN, THEY LOOK LOST, BECAUSE THEY ARE.

COACHES JOB IS TO, AND I HATE TO SAY THIS, PUT THEIR PLAYERS IN A (COUGH COUGH) BETTER POSITION TO SUCCEED, WHICH BELICHEAT DOES.

When your biggest need on defense is at CB. I know, it was absurd. It seems obvious that Rowe and Schvantz clashed from the beginning. And he's getting along with Belichick just fine now.

Must be nice having the greatest coach of our time.
