  • I hope today's games are worth watching

.....Sat was like watching preseason.....sloppy and awkward.

But don't tell the NFL their product is becoming diluted and ratings are down.

Mark Cuban's quote regarding their product continues to echo in my ears.

The NFL thinks/thought it was bulletproof.

But, I've done this comparison before ... boxing in the 30-50's was the NFL ... the country shut down for a heavyweight championship like it was the Super Bowl.

      Where's boxing now?

I think that is a good comparison

.....there is a "correction" in the NFLs future.

I've noticed a huge upswing of soccer coverage on early Sunday mornings as well..... With our Hispanic community in this country growing the NFL will feel pressure from that front as well.

Rog simply thinks that having the Raiders and Texans (and/or Cowboys and Cardinals) play in Mexico City once or twice a year will combat that.

One could also make the comparison between the original McMahon's "Attitude" heyday and the decline in WWE popularity today. Too much of a good thing...

You think the response of two games in Mexico is reflective of the Hispanic community?

I work with Hispanics , American football has a looooong way to go....now Real Madrid or Barcelona.

..didn't have my sarcasm hat on, too busy venting about fixing a toilet being more entertaining than the slop the NFL rolled out this weekend.
