And you KNOW if I thought there was a way to piss on McMahon I'd do it.
Let's see the weather on Sunday. What happens if the "storm" is delayed?

I am 180 west of KC, we are suppose to get hammered with ice, about a six state area.

Yep, there are plenty of legit things to bash Goddell for, this is not one of them.

I guess I am not sure that moving it back is going to help much, its suppose to start coming down around 6pm?

I think its a little bit of both but definitely think schedule grab is a big part of this decision.

Agreed. I'm not denying there could be a weather issue, but it seems to be more of a pretext to me.

I doubt they would reschedule a game under these conditions if it was during the regular season and they had another Sunday night game scheduled.

Do you seriously think the NFL is not consulting with every weather and traffic person.

Can you imagine the fucking shitstorm that would hit if they had people killed and there was no showing that they consulted the "experts" on this?

Or more significantly, proof that they actually discussed getting a better tv audience regardless of the timing of the storm?

You think they didn't talk about the timing of the storm and the best way to get the roads salted blah blah blah .

                  Come on

The Weather channel is famous for over hyping storms. Everything is always so dangerous.

Shefter tweeted this morning the NFL is considering night playoff games from now on. So imagine one at 4 and the other at 8 -8:30.

We always get the gas face on the east Coast.

By no means the end of the world out here, but it is VERY slick, whole state is covered by a sheet of ice, they treated the roads yesterday and they were good early this morning but even the treated roads are starting to glaze over now.
