I think back a few years ago and remember hearing the Eagles had really liked two WRs: Odell Beckham and Mike Evans. They just didn't think it was worth the price to move up (which had to be steep since they were drafting at 22). If they think Williams can be that guy, they need to make it happen. I have no faith they will find that guy in the second round this year. As we all know, they settled on Marcus Smith and Jordan Matthews. No more halfassing these drafts. Good front offices don't need to waste a first-rounder on a wideout. This team doesn't have that luxury.

They may only need to move up to Cleveland's spot at #12 (Eagles' pick they lost). Anything's possible will them. It's hard to forecast what's going to happen over the next few months. All I know is I don't want to hear they had a desired 'Top 5' and none of their players were there when they picked, again.

Let me rephrase...cutting BOTH would be absurd. You can't lose 2 long-time starters and expect the line (and Wentz) to be okay.

You dont have to cut peters and his salary is proportionate to what he's worth IMO. He's the 11th highest paid lt in the league and will become even lower after some guys sign new contracts this off season. Cutting Barwin, kendricks, mckelvin, and kelce will give them all the flexibility they should need.

...he has what they need, plus it's a feel good PR move, AND they go draft as well but at a lower round 3-5. Leaving the first 2 for DB and OL.

That's my guess today and I'm sticking with it.

                      Current Salary Cap: $176M
Salary Cap Space: $15.3M ($7.4M Cap Space + $7.9M Cap Holdover)

                      Cuts:
Trade DE Connor Barwin: Save $7.7M
                      Trade LB Kendricks: Save $1.8M
                      RB Ryan Mathews: Save $4M
                      CB Leodis McCelvin: Saves $3.2M
                      OT Matt Tobin: Saves $.9M
                      CB Dwayne Gratz: Saves $.7M
                      DT Taylor Hart: Saves $.7M
                      S Terrance Brooks: Saves $.7M
                      C Josh Andrews: Saves. $6M
                      LS Rick Lovato: Saves $.5M

Should put the salary cap space around $25M

I would hope they do more restructuring then cuts.

                            Penny. Brandon is shit.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
