So why is Hicks still on the team?

Howie said he made the deal because Schwanz had Rowe buried on the depth chart and admitted that he might have dealt him too cheaply. But Belichik would have found somebody else to plug in.

Because Hicks may very well be the team's best defender in a few years. Obviously talent should be the driver in any personnel decision, but it is just as obvious that Howie wanted to get rid of as much Chip stench as possible. So, yeah, I think it was an element in the decision.

What are you jizzing over? You saw one game where he didn't even play that well. He got beat for 2 TDs earlier in the game but was bailed out by an overthrow and then a dropped ball in the EZ. He was getting smoked by Sammie Coates and Martavis Bryant.

Not sure if you're referring to one "dropped ball" that was called by Simms but was horseshit ... the replay clearly showed that Rowe got his hand in ... which Simms still called a drop despite the clear video evidence that it wasn't.

On the one hand, there's you, and on the other hand there's Bill Belichick. Hmmm. What to believe, what to believe?

Patrick fucking Chung is going to get his second Super Bowl ring.

I used to think he was crap but in retrospect I'm sure after four seasons in New England he couldn't get back there from Chump Kelly fast enough.

Howie didn't feel the need to clarify his explanation

until his kid told him that it didn't make any sense.

Guess you didn't listen to the interview. Educate yourself.

No, I'm with you. That's the "8-year olds, dude." scene from The Big Lebowski. Sorry, I guess the reference was too inside.

My bad. It's a sign that I need to watch the movie again.

Belichick has basically taken Eagles rejects and a handful of Rutgers players he met while his son was playing lax there and crafted a SB caliber defense. Must be nice. We have boy blunder (c) and Marcus Smith.

My work HQ is in Boston. One of my coworkers from there sent me a instant message this morning, "I think you guys gave up on Rowe too early, he's turning into one of our best corners". We weren't even talking about football, he just blindly sent me that.
