Eagles Cap Space

Is anyone else concerned with our LOW cap space number this offseason? We may have to cut Barwin, Ryan Mathews, McKelvin (please), to fill some other vital needs. Right now I think we are in the bottom 5 in terms of cap spending money and we need some help on multiple units. Thoughts on others expendable players to clear space? Chase Daniel????????

Chase Daniel should be cut first, why would you pay a back up QB 7 million a year, if our starter goes down there is no hope with Daniel anyway. Plenty of reliable back ups out there or draft another late round QB.

If they cut him this year, there's 7 mill in dead money and 1 mill in savings. Daniel isn't worth what he's getting paid, but he's going to get it anyway. No way they take a 7 mill hit. Sorry Tom.

but, IIRC, bonuses spread out over the years are accelerated to the year he's cut. Not sure what the cap hit on a trade would be.
