I actually briefly met him and other members of the band in late 1981.

Somehow I won some stage passes from WVBR. That was cool.

Last march I ate mushrooms with him and some of his pals. Trees were dripping colors. Butch carried a lap dog around the whole time. He had the best stories that his friends had to remind him about
