  • Who has the better future, Eagles or Cowboys?

2016 Eagles finished with same record as in 2015, but this feels different. Gone are the days of duct taping the QB position with Kolb, Vick, Foles (still not sure how he had that 27-2 year) and Bradford. Draft what appears to be a franchise QB in Wentz, who reminds me a bit of Big Ben in his ability to escape the sack and extend the play. More playmakers in RB and WR will make his job easier. With a 4th place schedule, the should easily be in the running for the East in 2017.

2016 Cowboys kind of came from nowhere after Romo went down. Yes, they have a good OL and Elliot looks like a stud RB (for about 4-5 years). Prescott (who is a steal as a comp 4th rounder) does not turn it over like Romo and has a presence about him (as does Wentz). He was a leader that Romo was not. Cowboys weakness is their defense, as you saw in playoffs. They won 13 games in 2016 and can only go down, as no team has repeated as East winner since Eagles 2003-2004.

So, the Eagles will try to improve the offense and the Cowboys will try improve their defense. It will be Wentz vs. Dak for the next 10 years, which makes the rivalry extra exciting IMO.

So who is better next year, in 3 years, 5 years? What do you think?

Great replies. No objectivity, nor well thought out responses.

Sorry this bored isn't up to your lofty standards. Maybe post something compelling and stop throwing out Sports Radio'esque surveys?

              Wit or witout?

So did Quaid ... but Kilmer wins by a lean at the wire for me.
