He was rooting for the Falcons? Looks like he just snagged a T on the way in. It's not even a rival - Eagles smoked that Atlanta team.

Why? Don't players usually root for their conference team?

I read it to say he knows he's outta philly for sure. I don't care where he goes.

Renegotiating and moving to LDE as a pass rush specialist appears to be out.

I don't blame him. He's a 4-3 outside LB. If Ware leave Denver, I bet the Broncos sign Barwin and he gets 12 sacks.

He probably offered to renegotiate and they turned him down. So he knows he's outta here.

So he's not supposed to have a preference for the game? I seem to recall that a friend of his is on the Falcons. People are reading too much into this.

Not bc of his shirt. He probably has 20 versions of those from old Navy

It's her comment. And also her follow up comment on twitter directed to Ike Reese.

She's made a couple of comments alluding to eagles will release him & won't offer him reduced salary to come back (which is what he claims to have wanted).

I like Barwin, but I don't really want him back. Graham, Curry, Mucus and a draft pick. Unless Barwin wants pennies on the dollar, its not worth it for him or the birds.

It's hard to tell, as she removed the photo and I don't see any comments, and there are no recent tweets. I do see a response from Barwin, saying, "my boy plays for the Falcons."

Oh, I didn't know she deleted it.

She posted that photo with the header "when you know the eagles don't want you back!"

                          This is a non story.

Even at pennies on the dollar, he's a terrible fit and totally ineffective. He had a nice run in Philly, but it's over.

Honestly he would be more productive playing for a different team. Probably best for everybody for him to move on. If he likes Phila. he can always maintain a residence or move back there after his football career. I could see him being a commentator or radio host in Phila.
