  • Info on attending the draft

Seems like it might be a little tricky if you want to be in the area where the draft actually takes place.

How did Cataldi get all those guys into the Felt Forum? I guess things were different 18 years ago.

As I've said before, there are few things more boring than being in the room at the draft. You would have much more fun at a bar, watching it on tv as a group. The wait between picks could not be more boring when there live.

My dad and I went to the McNabb draft and we walked out as soon as we heard the words "Barry Gardner" in round 2.

    You've been warned.

Yeah, I was having dinner with my uncle from Central PA and we were discussing whether it is worth attending the draft. I think what we might end up doing is checking out draft town and then going to the bar. Being on site seems boring. Any idea on booze being served?

I hope our crew gets together. I plan on attending. Even if I don't get inside, I think its sorta to cool to attend and hang out and do whatever.

You are the man and you get to decide where the Zubus goes. Here is my suggestion... find a good spot to gayte and people can meet up there. I believe CB mentioned Fairmount Park as a good option. It probably is, unless they close it down after nightfall. I've gone to a lot of concerts there so I am sure they have kept it open for special events. Actually on the Parkway would be even better but I don't know about the logistics there.

If anybody has tickets for the actual draft they can send us photos/texts from the location.

Basically we a looking for an excuse for a gayte.

Agreed it could be boring being in the venue.

It seems that back in the day you could just walk into the draft at the Felt Forum.

I remember going to Penn Station on a Saturday morning in the late 90's and there were people outside going to the draft. I felt like I could just go in if I wanted to on the spur of the moment.

Either tickets weren't necessary at that time or they were easy to get a hold of at that time for the draft.
