The meniscus injury all depends on whether they will remove the piece of the meniscus that is torn, or attempt to repair it.
Usually, if the subject is young they will not remove it because it causes friction (bone on bone). The bad news about a repair is that it takes about triple the amount of time to recover...Probably 4-5 months to be 100% healthy.Comment

Typically...Pt for a torn meniscus can take a couple months and maybe longer. If after that time there is no improvement surgery would probably take place. I think it's been about a month. Unless it's bad enough that surgery is needed.Originally posted by IronEagle View Post
