A pile of shit for a good player usually gets the deal done

That is 2 immediate starters for their defense.

Ever hear of a guy named Sam Bradford?

If we get Brandin Cooks for 2 guys everyone knows we're trying to dump and a lame 4th round pick, Howie should get zero criticism for a year

Yep, great trade with a desperate partner. The Saints aren't in the same position

Cooks is good but not even a pro bowler. 1100 yards and 8 TDs is good, but I'd take Williams or Davis in the 1st...one of them will be there @ 15

I would take trading a 2nd for him over signing some risk like Jeffrey and risking this team drafting any wideout in the first round.

I want no part of Jeffery

With that deal, the Saints should give up a 1st too.

the titans are in a much better position than we are. with two 2nds and two 3rds, they can afford to give up one of each of those picks. they'd still have one pick in each round with which they could pick players about the same age as cooks, who most likely won't end up being as good as he is.

will our 2nd round cook be as good as cooks? i doubt it. but we just have to hope that we kill it in the draft. we need a monster at WR. to me, cooks doesn't solve the problem of agholor/DGB/matthews, with ertz being wentz's "best" target.

What do you mean by monster? Julio Jones? We're not finding him in the draft or free agency. Cook's is very good, I'd take him for a 2 in a heartbeat.
