  • Another option @ WR - Marshall about to be released

...according to Ian Rapoport. Personally, even though he's older...I like him more than Jeffrey and he should be cheaper.

I want him as well but.............

Bloody tweet is not embedding but he does not want to relocate his family from NY and requesting the Giants.

Alshon Jeffrey is the kind of shiny free agent toy that gives free agency a bad name. Not only do I not want him, but I'll abandon all faith in Howie if he even kicks the tires on him. He's an albatross waiting to happen.

Brandon Marshall is a slightly better option, but that isn't saying much. At 32, I'd pass.

Howie should put an age limit on ALL trade and free agent prospects, this team does not need old retreads it needs young up and coming talent.

I'd make an exception for Desean, with the condition that two WRs are drafted in the first four rounds. If they're going to remake the entire receiving corps, it makes good football sense to have a legit pro in the group. And it makes great PR sense to right one of Chump's most glaring wrongs.

Otherwise, I agree. They have to get younger. The only sure fire way to do that is to draft well. Make some trades, stock up on picks, and let Joe Douglas do his thing.

DJ being signed would do a few things for the Franchise

1st off gives you the deep threat and most importantly will help Wentz with his deep ball; confidence is key.

2nd Heal and bring true enthusiasm to the base, most of us felt the guy should have never left,,,10 jerseys would be everywhere, puts people in the seats,,good $$$$$ for good $$$$$$

3rd It Lets them go DB in round one or RB, either would be a day one starter and Id be fine with that. Although if Mike Williams is there, would be tough to pass him up!

That's one of the problems, this quitter has shown in the past he's not a 'legit pro'. Pass.

Do business with a long time Bears fan ... told me to stay away from Jeffrey.

                  I believe him.
