  • Sounds like Pryor is the target.

    I could live with that
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

He wants over 10 per year. I don't see it.

Any rumor that you hear on the radio (Especially on WIP) is most likely BS. I'm not sure it's a good idea to pay a converted WR with 1 good year under his belt during a contract year is the best idea.

speaking of another wideout, Desean is apparently looking to go to the Bucs (or the Bucs are basically making the biggest push for him).

Honestly, I think it's going to something like Torrey Smith and someone else. I'm honestly okay with that, because average receivers would make this office that much better...which shows how sad our wide out situation is for Wentz.

Upping your game in a contract year is one thing. Mastering a new and unfamiliar position is something else. It isn't like Pryor was dogging it prior to his contract year, he was just playing QB.

I get that there's risk here. I just think the upside is worth it.

Fair enough, but someone put it perfectly this morning when they said he has a high ceiling but he also has the potential of a lower floor.

You guys are nuts. I'd really like Pryor. Great production with a complete mess at QB, huge catch radius and size, elite speed, and entering his prime/still young at the position and lots of room to grow. Especially with Wentz throwing him the rock. Get it done and give Pryor a 4 year, 42 Million dollar deal.

why are they nuts though? I think you are nuts for giving a guy 10 million a year who is just learning QB and was one of the only options on a bad team. Of course they are going to throw him the ball.

I do think he's talented but I don't know...10 mill for a 1 year guy seems a little nuts to me.

It may still happen, who knows. I won't b!tch about it if they do sign him and i'll look forward to seeing his development with the team...but there are definite red flags for him.

You didn't watch if you do not see the talent he has. Yea he had no receivers and QB but that makes life way tougher as a WR. 10 million isn't crazy, IMO. Britt wants and demands 6-8 million. Same with Stills (maybe more). I prefer Pryor MUCH more than them.

Please take this as a request for information: what makes you think Pryor has the potential to be a top 3 WR I'm the NFL for 5+ years?

I think what he did in Cleveland with no QB, a horrible team around him, at a brand new position he just converted to is rather remarkable. He isn't getting enough credit for doing something we don't see very often. He has the perfect size/speed combo, he showed really good hands, and has picked up route running very quickly (obviously learning something from his time at QB).

Honestly, I just think he's a natural. And the more I think it through, the more I believe he's the best receiver in this free agent class.
