I think Smith fills a useful role on the team - a guy who stretches the field. That has been missing since DJax. If this were it, I'd livid, but hopefully this is a piece and they can get their guy at 14. I'd prefer that to signing Jeffrey.
Given what has been thrown around to some of the other WR's, I think that is fine. He's a solid WR who can stretch the field. They need that in addition to a real stud.
