The guy is only 27. Let's see how he does with a competent QB under center for the first time since he departed Baltimore before giving him that label.
What is there to spin? I don't think he was brought in here to be the second coming of Jerry Rice. He's an upgrade to the worst group of receivers in the league. That's pretty much it and I haven't really heard it spun otherwise. If FA and the draft pass by and we're looking at Smith as their best receiver, then I'll jump off the bridge. Not yet though.
