The Eagles have nothing at safety past Jenkins and McLeod. Unless they thought they would have a shot at Adams, this is probably bullshit. On top of that, they would have offered a future 2 before any 3rd or 4th round shit.

Don't forget, they don't have a second-rounder next year. They have several in Round 3 and 4. I know they will deny it but this proposal wouldn't surprise me. I don't see them wanting to go two years without a second-rounder. I could be wrong.

Forgot they didn't have the 2 next year. It would also not surprise me to see them get cute on draft day and drop back in round 1 to get that 2 back next year. Especially with the depth at the positions they need (CB, DE).

Didn't sound right when we all heard it and from what I've seen on twitter from philly reporters most of them say this sounds like horseshit too. Cap hit alone for this deal would have been catastrophic for eagles.
