How are Orlando and Buffalo hosting "West" region games?

Why don't they just get rid of the geographical designations and just call them red, blue, green, and range?

Why don't they just get rid of the geographical designations and just call them red, blue, green, and range?

First two rounds are based on the higher seeded teams. Region just matters for sweet 16 and elite eight.

Its been that way for a whIle now.
