who the Rams were taking at No. 1 (Goff) and that’s why they traded up to No. 2 to get Wentz.

I know there has been so questions about this...

The Rams really had no reason to lie about their intentions. They had the #1 pick.

He also said they resigned Bradford with an eye on trading him, basically buying a draft pick.

That's assuming they were OK getting either QB, which probably wasn't the case.

I think that assumes the birds were too, which I hope wasn't the case.

Doesn't confirm shit ... they paid Bradford without knowing they could move up.

                  Period.

That and Jeff was 99.99% confident

that Bridgewater would blow out his knee.

I want to enjoy this, ok?

And nothing close to what anyone said.

They took a gamble that someone would need a QB, for one of the gazillion reasons that teams find themselves in need of a QB. Bradford was never in their long-term plans. It was always about recovering the assets they gave up for him.

The gamble could have blown up in their faces. It didn't. Enjoy having the 14th pick.

Don't really know how it could blow up in their face. Bradford had value as a compensatory pick in a worse case scenario.

Being stuck with Bradford for two years is what I'd consider the worst case scenario.
