It's so much more imperative that Howie and Douglas make the "right" pick in rounds 1-4.

I know that sounds like a "duh" statement, but they can't afford to get cute (i.e.-trading back, picking a project). They also can't afford to get caught up in Senior Bowl love.

That's why I'd shy away from Mamula-esque risers like Reddick, and Senior Bowl-only performers like White in Round 1.

I'd be happy with them (not us) taking Humphrey, Davis, Foster, or Barnett in Round 1 and sticking to the build for the shortish-term future. Now, if all four of those guys are gone by pick #14, I got nothing...

I wouldn't take Taco, Cook, Howard, Peppers, or either of the top OL (Ramczyk or Robinson) there.

I don't really disagree with your philosophy , but I wouldn't call Tre'davious White a senior bowl only performer. He's been a long term starter and a really good player. Wearing that #18 at LSU is a nice bonus. I wouldn't have a problem with taking him.
