I'm thinking of buying a 4K display for my computer

It seems like the biggest bang/buck upgrade I could make at this point. Prices seem reasonable for them right now.

Right now I have a dual monitor setup so I would probably keep the better monitor I currently have and use that as a secondary display to the 4K.

I'm thinking this would be great for photo editing, etc.

Does anybody have any recommendations or comments?

It's ideal for photography. Look at Planar, they make great monitors, pretty decent price. Not cheap, but you don't want to go cheap cheap.

That is sorta true with tech stuff, but if you are not always trying to chase the awesomenest you can find a deal.

For example I bought my 1080p TV ten years ago and it is still working well. It's not a "smart" TV but it pulis in a lot of HD channels in the NYC area.

Is it oboslete? Yes! Does it do the job I want it to do? Yes!

I got my money's worth out of that purchase.

I will have to check them out. You are correct... not cheap. But I was surprised at how inexpensive 4K displays are becoming.
