Where is all the cap room coming from?? I'm starting to believe the Jason Peters trade rumors - they need to have some cap room coming to them from somewhere.

Odd signing.
I'm starting to think there's some fire behind the Peters rumors and the Sherman rumors.

I'm thinking the cap numbers we have been seeing are incorrect.
Peters will still count against the cap unless he is
traded. They had to have enough space to make these moves.
From a "we've been burned by Nnambi-Pambi" standpoint, I can't see it.
Although a Sherman with a chip on his shoulder would probably be better than a guy who ate his PB&J in his car...
I get being gun shy over the Nnambi fiasco, but Sherman's an altogether different player and personality. Nnambi had no edge to him whatsoever. I remember listening to his first press conference thinking I was listening to a Senate candidate. It was all downhill from there.
Richard Sherman's all edge, all attitude, with the game to back it up. I think he'd be a phenomenal fit in Philly.
Short of giving up #14, I'd love to find a way to get him.

If I were Howie and wanted him:
Trade Peters, Kendricks, and one of those 4ths.
Keep picks in rounds one and 2 and pick BPA of DE, CB, RB and WR.
Play Seumalo at RT until you can get rid of Kelce.
FWIW-I think the best thing is to keep Peters this year and let him ride off into the sunset...

I agree with you, they're a better team now with JP, but I can see the logic in getting something now, especially if Denver is as desperate as we're hearing. Elway may also want McCaffrey, so a Peters trade and a pick swap could be a real possibility, if the price is right. But that deal doesn't happen until we're on the clock and McCaffrey is on the board.
With a couple of extra picks from Denver and $10 million cleared under the cap, then they can have a serious conversation with Seattle.
Whatever Howie does, I think we're in for a pretty eventful draft night.
Doesn't Schvantz ask more of his CBs?
I think the Eagles only make that move if Howie is insecure about being able to draft a corner.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
