  • Over/Under on CBs drafted by the Birds.

Im putting it at 3.5 but the over pays +120. Under is -120. Place your bets!

Still plenty of other needs to address...but with the amount of DB talent out there, I'd say 2 CBs is a lock. And maybe throw in a safety (perhaps that accounts for the .5).

Under for sure. It'll be 2 and maybe a couple UDFA's

Need De, WR, RB, DT and only 8 picks.

They'll end up with 10 picks, is my guess. One trade down, one player trade.

I'll take the under. 2 CBs and a safety (higher than we expect).

Strict CBs or DBs in general. The Eagles like to play games with positions and we may not know what they actually play for 3 years (after they've been traded to the Pats)

My thought was they go heavy on CBs and hope to strike gold on a couple. Safeties are easier to find. Plus they have a couple good ones already.

The NFL is a passing league. You can win a Lombardi with shutdown cornerbacks and a stud QB/passing game.

But I agree with Ells that 4 CBs out of 8 picks is unlikely. 3 is possible in this draft.

This draft looks loaded at DB. I cant remember there ever being this much talent at that position before. The same goes for HB.

I think they will start off by selecting a Pass Rusher and then go nuts with DBs.

I seriously doubt it do to fact that they are shitty at all offensive skill positions on the team, maybe outside of TE. You have to surround your young beginning franchise QB with talent period.

You're forgetting Jeffery, Sproles and Smith. Running backs are easy to find. The OLine is solid.

Cornerbacks get you off the field on 3rd down. That's their biggest weakness.

Jimmy Kempski has three CBs in his latest mock draft. Its gonna be three. Gotta play the odds. The more tickets you buy, the better your chances.

Round 3: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington (6'0, 186)
Round 4: Damontae Kazee, CB, San Diego State (5'10, 190)
Round 5: Shaquill Griffin, CB, UCF (6'0, 194)

After a looooong offseason of speculation, hype, and about a million mock drafts, the week of the 2017 NFL Draft is finally here. This will be our final Eagles-only seven-round mock draft.
