    Lol woooooo
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Don't get the interest here. I guess he's more of a banger than Smallwood, and he has a decent jump cut. He gives you next to nothing on passing downs.

I do know they've liked him throughout the process. So the feedback they got from his coaches wasn't nearly as bad as the analysts though it would be.

They keep four, so we're looking at:

      Smallwood
      Sproles
      Pumphrey
      Clement/FA (Jamaal Charles)

I think Charles is a no brainer at this point, as soon as they're allowed to release Matthews.

        Undrafted free agent.

        What's not to like?

It's not really dislike. I'm just perplexed at what they see there. He had a lot of personal negatives that they had to overcome to hold their interest throughout the process. I guess he really impressed them.

Even if they get Charles, I think he has a legit shot to stick on the Practice Squad. Make the most of it, and there should be an opening in 2018 when Sproles and Charles (assuming a one year deal) are gone.

You obviously never seen him play, I watched him through out his career in South Jersey High School football and Wisconsin this guy is a play maker and tough as nails. How he went undrafted is amazing.

An injury prone running back with locker room and off- field character issues. Yeah, crazy he wasn't drafted.

He was injured twice name a RB who does not get injured. 1 off the field issue that about 20 of his teammates were also involved in that never amounted to anything. So stop trying to pick and make it sound like he is no good.

He wasn't drafted. I'd say the burden of proof is on you to prove that he is NFL good.

No, haven't watched a bunch of Wisconsin games or any South Jersey high school ball. Saw what was available to me. He looks good on the plays he won. So does every other kid on YouTube. I know there's some shit that went down last year that caused a lot of scouts to question his will to play the game which resulted in 32 teams passing on him over the course of seven rounds. And I know the book on him says he has nonexistent value on passing downs.

Hey, every team gets them wrong sometimes. Scouts miss all the time. We need a back with some power. I hope he kicks ass and makes the team.

If he's clear and they haven't released him by now, he's coming back.

Another UFA at the end of this year, another comp pick when he signs somewhere else.

That's probably the plan. It seems to fit in with this emerging comp-pick strategy.

So, the depth chart as of today looks like:

                          RB1: Matthews
                          RB2: Sproles
                          RB3: Smallwood
                          RB4: Pumphrey

With Corey Clement battling in camp. I guess that's a serviceable RBBC. Hopefully Pumphrey brings some home run hitting to the group.

They can't afford MaThews. He won't be an eagle this year.

Maybe they renegotiate a one year deal? I dunno. It's weird that he's clear and they're not releasing him.

I have no idea what they're up to at RB.
