FWIW, I like the Barnett pick. With the caveat that we don't know their draft board, I would think Howard was the most talented player available at 14. We're pretty old at DE and CBs are useless without a pass rush, so to me it looked like need was a factor. Not complaining, that's just what I thought I saw.

I think people often confuse talent with athleticism. It's great when you can get athletic freaks that are good players, but there are plenty of Eric Ebrons, Dion Jordans, etc. that just don't have the aptitude for playing football. I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong about Howard, but people seem to really be underselling Barnett.

Yeah it really screwed the Cowgirls last season. There are plenty of impact rookies every year.

As far as cornerbacks until I see Sidney Jones on the field they got one. Definitely only one for 2017.
