I'm really starting to think they plan on bringing him back and are working on renegotiating a one-year deal. If he's medically cleared and he's not in their plans, it makes no sense to not release him when they need the dollars to sign a replacement. Blount and Charles are going to be off the market probably by week's end.
As part of a committee, I think Matthews could actually be pretty good. The dynamic DJ potentially brings to the group is pretty exciting.
