Love Major League, but for me, Caddyshack is the most quotable movie of all time.

Sports comedies are not in the same genre IMO as dramas.

Then there are poker and horse racing movies ... which include two killer movies (one from each genre) ... the comedy Let It Ride, and the drama Rounders.

PS - billiards are also in the horse racing/poker genre, so you have The Hustler and it's follow-up The Color of Money.

Maybe most quotable sports movie ... but Fargo, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Pulp Fiction off the top of my head are at least as quotable.
