yeah, no risk, but this really makes it sting that they didn't get cook. while blount and sproles could be solid for a year, they're both gone after 2017. and you have to think at least two of the WRs are gone. of course we need jeffery to work out, but i think all this turnover would compound the problem if he's a bust.
Nice way to waste 2.8 million you did not have to spend. You have 4 backs now, 2 speed smaller guys, 1 power back and Sproles. Kind of thought they would settle in with these guys.

Base salary is $1.25 million, only 400k is guaranteed. It's a great deal. Sproles/Smallwood/Pumphrey would have been the weakest RB corps in the league.

Sorry I just saw the 2.8 million, do not forget they got Clement who is a big back and can get you the 2-3 yards going straight up the middle.
Sproles will be gone, replaced by Pumphrey. Blount could resign on another 1 year deal and we could still spend a high pick on a RB. This is pending how Clement d
looks.
