    This is a shame.
    My condolences to everybody who was close to him.

    It's a little strange that a number of Phillies have died young from this disease. On the other hand, Ted Kennedy died from it and John McCain is battling it now (both pretty old). I don't believe either of Kennedy or McCain spent much time in the Vet.

    It sucks.
