Pumphrey sucks but that doesn't mean Clement is any good either.

Clement has no burst or breakaway speed. He's useless on passing downs. He doesn't excel at blocking. He's literally every other marginal RB who runs hard and straight in the preseason but has no chance of doing anything of note in the real games.

They'll keep a 4th RB because they have to and with as much as Pederson will be throwing, because he's Pederson, might as well keep the midget who is at least somewhat of a threat in the air.

It's all speculation. I prefer to get it out there and give someone the pleasure of bumping this thread if he proves me wrong. I'm thinking there's a good chance this thread doesn't resurface.

On the flipside, I think Derek Barnett will turn out to be a good pick.
