And agreed with the previous assessment: 4-6 weeks

    I'm thinking 6 weeks.

Anything less than a season ender or even an IR trip is a win in my book. If he's back after the bye, that's a good result.

Unbelievable after seeing that I thought season ending, back for week 8 would be a blessing.

        8 weeks minimum

But I still think that he won't play again this season

Ambitious prediction. Can you explain why you think that?

            No explanation necessary.

            Don't push it, bub.

There is some guy in San Diego who calls himself "profootballdoc" who appears to have had this correct from the start.

That guy is the former Chargers team doc. He's an interesting character...good at evaluating sports injuries, but has been in hot water quite a few times.

The way the foot was twisted was EXACTLY like rg4skin's identical injury on opening week (on the same field!) several years ago. The only thing I was left wondering was if there was a break and/or severe ligament damage.

it just looked bad to me. The fact that he'll play again this season, and pretty soon, is amazing.
